FPOS Intermediate course dates set by ITG

We have set some dates in the new year for First Person On Scene (FPOS) Intermediate at two locations and we will be adding more soon. The FPOS Intermediate course is ideal for all instructors to give you more knowledge and practical experience in first aid to improve your skills and understanding. The course is 5 days and the last day you will complete a test and practical evaluation and then earn the IHCD FPOSi Certificate

ProTrainings will soon become responsive!

We’re excited to announce that ProTrainings will soon become responsive! Perhaps you’re asking yourself what that means. Over the past several months we have been designing & optimising a new site that will respond to the size of your device. This means that you and your employees / students will soon be able to train, test, and interact with a fully functional dashboard on a mobile phone, tablet, or desktop computer.

Over the past few years we have seen a significant increase in the number of people visiting our site using a mobile device. In fact, over a quarter of our traffic comes from mobile devices. Last month alone over 550 different devices were used to access our site. Our new site will ensure a user friendly experience regardless of the device one uses to interact with ProTrainings. We’ve worked hard to keep much of the functionality and layout of our dashboards the same to ensure a seamless transition to the new site.

Important safety information for patients using Jext® solution for injection in pre-filled pen

Routine testing conducted by ALK-Abelló has revealed that during the production process in some batches the needle may have become bent, causing the needle to curl up inside the injector housing upon activation and consequently causing the pen not to deliver the required adrenaline dose. The malfunction only affects a small number, approximately 1 in 2500, of the pens in these batches. Immediate action has been taken to eliminate similar production issues in the future.  For more information click here.

Christmas Closing Times

We will be closing for the Christmas break at 17:00 on Friday 20th December and opening at 9am on Thursday 2nd January.  Please make sure that you request any certificates in time before the break to keep delays to a minimum.  The Awarding Body will be closed during the same dates so it will not be possible to process certificates in this period.
